I'm having a hard time finding someone who is willing to work with me on a student project who is in the career field of financial planning, advisement or management. I have had a few people say they would help me but aren't necessarily in the field for their career.
One option is a recent grad and is a CPA.
The other has met with financial advisors her entire life (and her husband's) and has the most extensive spreadsheet I've ever seen detailing her retirement, 401K, health, savings, investments, you name it, she has it recorded on her spreadsheet with her 5 year and 10 year plan.
A problem I'm having with finding a financial advisor (planner, management, etc) is that they won't want to help because my plan is to extend on Mint which could be equated to the DIY of financial planning. It takes away their business. I have reached out to a few people because the worst they can tell me is no. We will see.

I've emailed this organization asking if they could provide being an SME. I have yet to hear back.
